WINTER HAS COME!

The key to winter dressing lies with good layering and can be applied with summer as well if played well with lengths. One can wear a nice combination of pastel colours as base with bold colours of mufflers and scarves which will give a very healthy contrast. The lowers can be denims or trousers depending on two things mainly, temperature and occasion, any casual outing can be dealt with in ripped denims and boots where as you can pick trousers for a formal event. The best escape for winter fashion can be a trench coat or long overall woolen shrugs which can be paired up with solid formals to save the day!

This outfit is a complete school girl look which saves you from all the woes of winter layering. I must say that I have tried to play safe this time with choosing bold and solid colours. The skirt is a box cut in polyester and cotton picked up from H and M paired with a simple body fitting black coloured top bought from Forever 21. This material is particularly suitable for Bangalore winter. The muffler is a Christmas colour I love wearing during this season and a cliché black leather jacket for outdoors picked from Zara.

The footwear is another comfort pair that suits in rainy as well as winter season and is popularly known as motorcycle boots available at a reasonable price which is a must in your shoe wardrobe if you love going rusty once in a while.
